Kirpal Export Overseas (KEO) began in 2000 with a simple but powerful vision—to make safe, natural, and effective herbal hair care accessible to people everywhere. What started as my small dream—I am Mrs. Payal Walia, The Vice Presdient of Kirpal Export Overseas (KEO) wife of Mr. Sunil Walia, The President of Kirpal Export Overseas (KEO)—slowly grew into a brand that has touched lives across the world.
In the early 2000s, indigo was known mostly as a textile dye, molded into solid cakes for coloring fabrics. A new path opened when Payal Walia and her husband had the opportunity to collaborate with Japanese agricultural scientist Mr. Kobyashee. Together we discovered a gentle, reliable way to use indigo as a natural hair colorant. That breakthrough transformed the lives of many who suffered allergic reactions and irritation from chemical dyes.
That moment became the foundation of our identity. Kirpal Export Overseas (KEO) became one of the first herbal hair-care companies to introduce indigo as a natural hair color—a milestone that opened doors around the globe. What began with manufacturing for Japan soon expanded worldwide as trusted brands partnered with us for our purity, reliability, and commitment to quality.
